I Have Acheived Majority.

No, I'm not a white male who voted for Barack Obama.
Yesterday was my eighteenth birthday and I am no longer a minor.

I had my party at my grandparents' house.

My aunt Carin made the lovely cake.

Out of the 12 people who originally said they would come, only Chris, Kasey, Andy, Audra, and Andrea were able to actually make it when it came down to it. We still had a good time.

Ball!

I was actually really excited for this. I won't be able to take my whiteboard with me and I was going to really miss it. But now I won't have to!

Kasey made me a whole SCRAPBOOK.

see?

From Andy

Then we all went over to Huntington State Beach for the evening.

This picture is so funny on so many levels, from Jared's face to Andy and Kasey's game.

Chris is a vegetarian. So when we all had hot dogs, he tried to cook himself a Boca burger.

Audra and I have matching sunglasses.

Boys at beach. Beach...boys?

Playing in the water.

Boys vs. Girls Koob game

Ten fingers.
After the beach, my dad drove the van full of my aforementioned guests, Dallin, and me home We stopped on 7-eleven on Beach Blvd on the way for Slurpees!

My boss surprised me with a cake, too. But it's a secret. shh! My coworkers aren't supposed to know! I got it because I'm leaving soon and I got her daughter (who's just ten days older than me) something for her birthday. We ate it tonight with the Birds and it was delicious. (Vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake!)

  1. Why did I think your birthday was July 8th?

    Hmmm... Sari's is the 15th.

It looks like you had a great party and I love your expression with the white board. I LOVE whiteboards too but had to give them up when I had kids because kids like them. And the markers. And they aren't careful with the markers and the markers like the walls and the walls don't like the markers and in the end, I had to give it up.

Still makes me a little blue.

    Anyway ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You really will do great things!
