Have I told you about my new apartment yet? This semester I moved to a townhouse at the top of the hill to make getting to class easier. (It's also two blocks from the temple. Score!) Not only does it have a dishwasher (something my old apartment lacked), it's heated by a fireplace. Just a gas one, mind you, but the fire's real.
I've always liked the idea of reading or doing homework by the fire because I'm always cold. (I'm wearing gloves as I type this.) But I've found that I can't because I will fall asleep. I slept for about four hours and woke up at almost 9:00. Oops. Hopefully I can still get some homework done and not completely ruin my circadian rhythm--I was just starting to get one!
In other news, I'm branching out! I'm doing things other than only leaving my computer apartment for class and church and the occasional social call. Tomorrow I'm trying out for the Broadway Revue here on campus. Friday I start volunteer work with the Student Representative Council (SRC). I'm excited for both!
