In my previous post I announced my switch to vegetarianism. I ought to clarify a few things. I'm still eating animal products--milk, eggs, and even bullion are in. And I'm still eating fish, so the proper term to describe my diet is pescatarian.
I still think I'm eating well. Earlier this week I made an entire crockpot of lentil soup and I've been living off of that for at least one meal a day. But tonight I needed something...meatier. So I had some salmon. When I realized I was having fish on Friday, I smiled a little bit. My great-grandma Mary would be proud. She was so devout a Catholic that she never ate meat on Friday, whether or not it was Lent.
In other news, school is keeping me insanely busy, but I'm still finding time to do things like blog and go running and sleep. I'm also committee planning the Pi Sigma Alpha Pre-Professional Conference and will be participating in a simulation of Congress next month.
Guess whose district I'm representing?
I should find a nail artist to give me a Confederate flag manicure for that weekend.
