I've had my on-again-off-again fling with short hair over the years.
Every time, I've regretted it, and vowed to never cut it again. But I think that with my color/sun/time damaged hair, it's time to get serious about keeping it short. I think it suits me better. And when I say serious, I mean Carey Mulligan serious.
I know I've ignored y'all in the past, but what say you, readers? The plan is that once I have a little extra money (so maybe in a few weeks months years), I'll just chop it all off like this. And see how nicely it grows out on her? I really think this could work, guys.

I've had my hair super short like that before (probably hard to find a style I haven't had - I'm so hair fickle). In 7th grade it was the Dorothy Hamill and I totally rocked it.

I think you have a fantastic smile and for that reason you could totally pull it off. Here's my advice - Go to a REAL stylist! Do not take a chance on anyone not ... trusted. Get big funky earrings! Wahoo! And three - it's hair -it grows back! I considered cutting mine all off today, if I was less of me I totally would. You can wear all those cute hairbands with bows and flowers and ribbons. Growing over the ears is a freakin' nightmare.
Short hair can be a lot easier to deal with, but you also have to cut it more often to keep it up.

I know all your Morgan uncles would say "Don't!" (some weird thing about all guys liking long hair). I agree with your mom, and that you should get a professional opinion to see if it would go with your face shape. I think there is also a website where you can upload a picture of yourself to "try on" different styles. I can't wait to see what you end up doing!
