"Ponder Anew What the Almighty Can Do"

I've had something very important to me on my mind for the last few months. I could hardly think of anything else and had prayed a lot about it. I got my answer today. It wasn't the one I'd been hoping for at all. Normally I would be very upset for a very long time.

Luckily, I got my answer in Devotional.

At first I figured that (President of Dixie State College) Stephen D. Nadauld's talk on agency and the Atonement would just distract me from my disappointment. It really ended up helping me through it in less than an hour. I should be sad; I am relieved. I should be hurt; I'm at peace. I should feel like a failure; I feel my Savior's love. What a tender mercy Devotional is!
